Grammy Award Winner, Shaggy, Lends His Voice to DKMS

Musician Speaks Out to Help Save his Friend, Marcia Williams, who Needs a Bone Marrow Transplant

Why:

Grammy Award winner, Shaggy, is on a mission to encourage people to register as bone marrow donors, in hopes that someone is a match for his dear friend Marcia and others like her who are suffering from life-threatening blood cancers.

In May of this year, 2008, Marcia found out she had leukemia. She is a mother of two beautiful young girls, and is a loving wife to her husband, Andy Williams, a professional soccer player for the Real Salt Lake team. The family does everything together and they need her in their lives.

A stranger can help save her life. Help DKMS bring together what belongs together, this family.
